Evolve Health Protocols

Evolve takes every precaution to make the facilities safe. Zoom mat classes are available for those who prefer not to come in to the studio.

The Studio

Cleaning: Evolve uses Lysol wipes to clean equipment and mats after every use. In addition, we use CDC-approved PROTEX wipes and sprays to aid with cleaning the studio. We also supply hand sanitizer at the desk and near the door of the waiting room.

Equipment Contact Surfaces: Reformers, Cadillacs, Wunda Chairs, and Avalon Arm chair/Small Barrel straps and handles have Vinyl covers from Balanced Body to make disinfecting them with wipes easier. Studio carpets and hardwood have been cleaned and treated with Microban. There are sanitation bins throughout the studio for small used equipment such as bands, balls, weights, etc. so that they will be sanitized before the next use.

Air: Two Medify medical-grade air purifiers with HEPA-13 filters remove airborne particles. These purifiers cover 1600 square feet, protecting both the main room and the classroom.

Social distancing: Reformers are positioned diagonally more than 6 feet from head to head, so that class members are socially distanced during class.

Staff and Client Protocols

Staff: All staff members are vaccinated. They are required to wash their hands and/or use hand sanitizer between sessions.

Clientele: We recommend that clients wear masks and bring their own clean towels for sessions. However, if a client is unable to bring a towel, one will be provided. After a session, any towels supplied by Evolve should be placed in the plastic bin designated for used towels.

CLIENT Guidelines

These guidelines are not only to protect you but to protect others around you, especially those with compromised immune systems. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

If you have symptoms of a cold, flu or other infectious disease, you should stay at home; this applies to all instructors, clerical staff and clients.

Symptoms may include:

  • Fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath/difficulty breathing, new loss of taste or smell, fatigue, runny or stuffy nose, muscle or body aches, headache, sore throat, nausea or vomiting, and diarrhea.
  • Serious symptoms include difficulty breathing, pain or pressure in the chest, bluish lips or face, being confused or having difficulty waking up.

If you suspect you have COVID-19: You must isolate for at LEAST 5 days. How long you have to isolate depends on whether you have symptoms and whether you get a negative follow-up viral test on day 5 or later. Note: Antigen tests are recommended because NAAT/PCR tests can stay positive even after you are no longer infectious.

Visit ph.lacounty.gov/covidcare to learn more about what to do if you are sick.

Ending isolation: The end of isolation depends on the following conditions:

After 5 days: If you have symptoms and test positive for COVID-19, ONLY if all of the following conditions are met:

  • A COVID-19 viral test collected on Day 5 or later is negative
  • No fever for at least 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medicine
  • Other symptoms are not present or are improving
