Kelley Gmoser

Kelley GmoserKelley Gmoser is a Southern California native. She graduated from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts degree and went on to graduate study at Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management, earning her Masters in Organization Development.

Kelley is a certified Pilates instructor for mat and apparatus through Body Arts and Science International (BASI).

When she was in her teens, Kelley sustained a complete ACL tear and ensuing reconstruction. After exploring various activities to build and maintain strength in the muscles supporting her knee joint, she found that a Pilates practice, with its emphasis on improving and sustaining strength and flexibility, to have the most positive effect on knee stability and overall health. With women outpacing men in the number of ACL-related injuries, Kelley is particularly interested in utilizing Pilates to strengthen, lengthen and balance the body’s muscle groups to aid in the prevention of ACL-related injuries in female soccer players.
